I made this installations as a part of Offspring 2022 at De Ateliers, Amsterdam. This exhibition marked the end of a 2 year residency.

For Set, Radisson Blu I showed my film Scene 4, Take 9, Streetcar Named Psycho politics, Ep1, Se1 in a bedroom usually reserved for the guest tutors who visit the residency of De Ateliers.
I left the decor of the room unchanged, and added a 42 inch TV and a digitally printed blanket. On A Streetcar Named Success is a blanket printed with an NY times article written in 1947 by Tennessee Williams, the playwright who wrote the play A Streetcar Named Success that we perform in the film.
In this article Tennessee Williams reflects on his experience of gaining success as a playwright, living in hotels and the despondency he feels in the light of his new found fame and wealth.
