Street Named Psychopolitics Fondation Tschüss, Karlsruhe, DE January 2023 Fondation Tschüss is in a 400m2 former motorcycle parts retail shop. It has large windows facing the street. For this work I installed my video in the small office at the back of the retail space which has glass doors looking onto the shop floor. The viewers were therefore participating in the installation, themselves being seen by others walking in the main space. I displayed the printed blanket in one of the shop windows so that the text could be read by people on the street outside, recalling a poster or announcement display.

Scene 4, Take 9, Street Named Psychopolitics, Ep1, Se1 is the first episode of my docu-comedy series Stardoom. In this episode four friends and I attempt to shoot a scene from Tennessee Williams’ A Streetcar Named Desire, a play that we read in our English class aged 13. In real life, one of these friends, Tula, is a reality TV personality. In characteristic 'reality' style, Tula and I both reflect on our experience of the shoot, and our teenage rivalries are explored.
